Is Repairing Hubble the Right Choice?
Last week NASA announced that they would be sending a space shuttle on a repair mission to the Hubble. If this mission is successful the Hubble should take pictures until 2013. But is spending $900 million dollars to repair the Hubble Space Telescope a wise decision when there are so many hungry and poor people in the world? Orginal Story From TFK

No, I don’t think they should repair some silly ship. They should focus on spending money on the poor and hungry people.

Micaela - I think space exploration is great to some degree. On a global degree $900,000,000 is not that much but there are alot of unfortunate people in this world and the money could be spent better elsewhere. Becca

I agree with Meghan and Becca, I think we should help homeless people, but also repair this “silly spaceship.” -Cheryl

The people in poor contrys need this money for things like food, shelter, medicne, and for their children to go to school so they can get a good education. We should always put other people before a silly thing like reparing a space telascopes.
